Drop of water

Drop of water

Last weekend was spend in the hanging rocks, site made popular by the movie "Picnic at the hanging rock". This picture is taken with a macro lense. Its a drop of water on moss.

End of development week, I've now gone through 2 iterations in this new job of 6 months. Of all the companies I've work with (a couple have been multinational and 1 non-profit), this is the one company to churn out software features at the fatest rate.

The working culture in Australia is very different from my previous experience. I like to think that we're more productive. We work no longer than 8 hours a day, we take an average amount of time (30 minutes) of lunch break, we don't surf at work nor have personal chat using the office phone and we never or almost never spend more than 9 hours in the office in total. Maybe it's the company that I work in.. but 'm happy with the arrangement seeing that I can get home by 6.30pm on most days.

more pictures from last weekend.

Seasons

Seasons

Yarra Valley estates, soaking in the afternoon sun, striking red leaves of the vineyards, excellent company, delicious lunch in the courtyard; champagne , organic chilli dip, sweet potato with spinach. Peaceful drive up the hills, breathing fresh air and lots of photographing..

This picture was taken with a macro lense and turned out to be more beautiful then seen with a naked eye.

More pictures..

Half way through Atlas Shrugged.. enjoyable read which presents a very concise perspective of our world.

The bench

The bench taken with my new camera :)

Hardly sitting on the bench nowadays.

In peaceful Melbourne.. possibly the most terrible thing that can happen is the tram breaking down and ofcourse also that we are facing a drought. Oh, you can also file a complaint report on your neighbours if they water the gardens with the scared water we have left.. yes, beautiful gardens can take precedence over food for some ppl.
