Roses and piglets

He brought 999 roses for her in a box. His groomsmen brought in a huge carton box filled with 999 red roses, took it into the house for her. Don't know what they did with it inside. Then they carried the box of roses out into the car to be brought over to his house. I need to ask her what they did with all those roses later.



Then there's the piglets. Shark fins and piglets (just the skin) are wedding dinner delicacies. My friends says they won't serve shark's fin soup during their wedding banquet becuase 1 bilion sharks dies every 10 years so that we can eat them. But if they are attending someone else's wedding which serves shark's fin soup as a dish, they will eat it anyways becuase the crime is already done, why waste the food.

Poor piglet being serve on the table, urgh.. :(.

Things here..

Company had an annual dinner in the KL hilton hotel last couple of weeks :). Mhmm.. it was kinda boring but the after party in a salsa club was fun. I've never been to a salsa club here and I was very impressed with their selection of music and the crowd that went. Everyone on the dance floor was a pro in salsa dancing, moving so sexily with all those complicated steps. It was a very entertaining sight :) looking at the gorgeous girls and groovy guys. I was too embarassed to get on the dance floor... dancing ..love it!

I'm going to a Brazilian festival tonight with some friends, one of them is performing Capoeira.

Have a friend's wdding to attend to tomorrow. It's a whole day event. I'm excited becuase it's always nice to see people happy and all dress up. Besides, it has also been an uneventful month. I'll put up some pictures tomorrow.

We had somekind of a hand's night thing (barchelorette's party) last Wednesday with some wine, home made soup (yummy!), satay, chicken wings, hokkien mee (supposingly lilian's favourite!) and went through lots and lots of pictures and reminiscing of Aiesec UPM times.
